Presencia Cubana en Los Angeles festival celebrates the cultural heritage of Cuba, introducing its richness and vibrancy to the communities of Southern California and keeping it alive for younger Cuban Americans. It is the only FREE major celebration in Los Angeles of "Día de la Independencia de Cuba", commemorating the island’s freedom from Spain on May 20, 1902. Cuban cuisine, music, dance and art are showcased in beautiful Echo Park nestled in the heart of Los Angeles. Top musicians have performed in the past such as Israel “Cachao” López, Ricardo Lemvo of Makina Loca, Poncho Sanchez, Yamila and L.A. Salsa Kids.

It includes a Food court with a variety of Cuban specialties such as coffee, pastries, sandwiches, and more. Children's playground and story telling area, Seniors activity area, Exclusive VIP pavilion for sponsors.

The Cuban Festival yearly attracts over 20,000 people.
